Seattle was known as the ‘Queen City of the Northwest’ from 1869 up until 1982.
QCT is an artistic collective with a mission to create theatre in and around Seattle that is inclusive and thought-provoking. We aim to cultivate a collaborative space where artists can experiment, play, and be celebrated.
Queen City Theatre acknowledges that we live and work on the traditional land of the Coast Salish people, including the Duwamish People, past and present. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe. This acknowledgement does not take the place of authentic relationships with indigenous communities, but serves as a first step in honoring the land we are on.
